During testing across several events in 2023, we learned that most facilities/layouts end up with straights between 40-50 ft. This is where our 4500kv motors shine.
The feedback we received from our testers:
The 5500kv motor is too much for me,
I end up driving the 5500kv motor at 75-85% EPA,
I'm going through tires quickly with a 5500kv motor,
My AWD does NOT finish an 8-minute session with a 5500kv motor,
The 3500kv motor lacks top-end in MOD classes,
Enter our 4500kv motor line. With plenty of 'manageable' bottom end through the infield (compared to 5500kv), and significantly more top end on the straights (compared to 3500kv), the 4500kv is your answer! Our testers/racers reported higher consistency %s, as well as more run time. This motor is also extremely efficient and we are seeing great results with it in lightweight setup AWD classes.
Please note - if your home track routinely races on layouts with 60+ft straights, then you will be better off with our 5500kv motors.
