HRC's take on F1 points:

  • There will be two different championships running, a Driver's Championship, and a Constructor's Championship.
  • If wanting to strictly run in the Driver's Championship, then just read the above 'Formula One' rules. If wanting to do both the Driver's and Constructor's Championships then read on.
  • The Constructor’s Championship works like this; up to 3 drivers on a team, can create a team (real, but from any era), and work together throughout the season to put points on the board. It’s that easy! The top two finishers for the day (from the team) count towards points.
  • Points will be calculated as if:
  • Team Driver 1 earns 75 points for the day in his individual race effort.
  • Team Driver 2 earns 100 points for the day in his individual race effort.
  • Their Team will earn 175 points toward the Constructor’s Championship!

Constructor’s Championship Rules:

  • All cars on the ‘Team’ must have similar liveries; ie, Team Mercedes drivers have to run Mercedes-liveried cars.
  • The ‘Team’ can replicate a real F1/F2 team from any era.
  • Throw-outs or Drops do NOT count towards Constructor’s Championship – the top two racers' points will be used for the final total.

HRC Spec GT12

  • Chassis: HRC Spec Chassis (1/12, two choices)
  • ESC: HRC Spec ESC (2S, programmable, blinky)
  • Motor: HRC Spec Motor (25.5T sealed)
  • Battery: HRC Spec Battery (2S LiHV)
  • Wheels/Tires: HRC Spec Tires (Foam)
  • Servo: HRC Spec Servo
  • Bodies: HRC Spec Bodies (Choices between Audi, Corvette, Ferrari, and Porsche)

* The goal for this budget class is to replicate a GT series based around recognizable cars while keeping the chassis and its electronics EVEN for all drivers.
