Crawling

Houston RC got into RC Crawling in the summer of 2025 with 1/24-1/18 crawlers. We partnered up with brands like Axial, Boom Racing, Furitek, Injora, Kyosho, MEUS, RC4WD, Rhino RC, Vanquish, and more to bring the community together and host crawling events. From weekly open crawl days, to monthly competitions.

Micros (1/32-1/28) and Minis (1/24-1/18): Inspired by RCMCCA rules, and to garner manufacturer support (by affiliation), our rules were tailored for local customers with fun and scale realism in mind. Each sale of a crawler helped influence the local rules.

Class 2	VP VS4-10 build or VRD (Stance or Mullet). Axial Coyote or Builder's kit.	4.75"	No limits.	SORRCA requirements.	Class 2 is your modified truck or 4x4 purpose built for heavy off-road use. Typically using a recognized body style that has possibly undergone modifications and customizations in chassis form and structure to achieve this. No 4WS, Dig, or selectable Over/Under Drive.
Class 3	Rhino RC Yue One Coupe. VP Mullet or Optics.	6.00"	No limits.	No requirements.	Unlimited class. Axle mounted steering is allowed. 4WS is allowed. Dig/Selectable Overdrive allowed.
