These events welcome everyone—no expensive rigs required. For just $30, discover the thrill of coordinated off-road adventures and connect with fellow hobbyists. Houston RC is committed to putting more radios in the hands of enthusiasts, and providing a premium RC experience that is accessible to the entire community.
You don't need a $500+ rig to join, we've partnered up with manufacturers to subsidize these events and make them affordable. Limited spots per adventure.
What to expect?
- a 1/10 scale crawler, radio, batteries and support for the entire adventure.
- a lead and a sweeper per group to guide you through the terrain.
- group pictures at unique spots on the trails.
- a 2 hour adventure.
What to bring?
- must be able to walk on the trails alongside your RC crawler. Proper footwear helps.
- we've got you covered on RC related items,
- a water bottle.
Where?
- We have identified 4 trails in and around the city. All trails will be rotated, so every adventure is a different adventure! 2 in Houston, 1 in Spring, 1 in Tomball.
When?
- 8-9am start time.
- Saturday & Sunday adventures.
- all dates posted below, check out with the one that you can attend, you can sign up for multiple ones.
Is it really $30 to join?
- Yes. We partnered up with multiple manufacturers to make this affordable for you!
What if I like it and want to buy one of those cars?
- That can be arranged, let us know in advance on which one you are considering and we can match you with that model.
Notes:
- Specific trail information and times will be released to the participants after their spot is confirmed. Trails will be rotated for each adventure.
- These adventure runs will be limited to keep the group small, strictly first come, first reserve. Reserve using the check out process on this page.
- Please make sure you are signing up for a date that you can attend.
- Unfortunately since we are limiting the # of attendees, there will not be refunds for you missing the date/time, as a spot and a car will be prepared/ready for you!
- In the event of rain, we will reschedule or ask the group if they'd like to run rain or shine.
