The Axial team had two priorities in mind when creating the SCX30 RC crawler platform. It had to be conveniently small but also deliver high performance, whether adventuring inside or on outdoor trails. The SCX30 Chevrolet K10 RTR accomplishes both.

At 1/30 scale, this little K10 is the perfect size for maneuvering over a desktop as well as for crawling across dirt and rock trails. It offers oversized performance for a very affordable price, with features and capabilities you’d never expect from a sub-micro crawler.

The Chevy K10 includes an angled skid plate to let you easily slide over challenging obstacles - a feature usually found only in competition crawlers. Ramped axle housings and high clearance links also help to avoid dragging and hangups. Climbing stability on the rocks gets a boost from the chassis’ forward weight bias. Other performance features include damped 25mm shocks, full ball bearings, a powerful Axial 65T motor, and dependable Spektrum electronics that are mounted low in the chassis for the optimal center of gravity.

Topping off that trail-ready engineering is a Chevy K10 ABS hard body that proves detailed scale realism can come in any size. An authentic recreation of the full-size truck, the body is complemented by front and rear LEDs and officially licensed Interco Super Swamper tires. These soft compound tires with foam inserts provide all the traction needed for outdoor trail action or for crawling across a desktop, table, or cluttered floor. You can turn any space into your personal Rubicon trail!

Detailed Hard Body

This licensed SCX30 Chevy K10 RTR doesn’t come up short on scale realism. The injection molded ABS hard body is loaded with details for authentic scale looks. Front and rear LEDs are included, as are molded parts for body customizing. The headlights and tail lights are molded into the body and the chassis has the LED's attached to make the body easy to come off. ZERO body clips are used and the body comes off by pulling up on the front and sliding towards the rear.

Chassis & Tuning

This is not just a shrunk down SCX24, this chassis is molded from one piece with the skid plate being separate from the chassis. The transmission incorporates a transverse motor mount meaning with the motor sideways, there is more front weight on the chassis. The transmission is a three-gear design with a worm-gear driving both front and rear axles. On top of the rear axle housing, double ball-ends are used, allowing you to adjust the driveshaft angle with ease. Multiple shock mounting holes on the chassis rails give you the adjustability to refine the suspension to your liking.

Electronics

The right side molded slider has been designed to hold the receiver, esc, and on/off button all in one. This gives a super clean and compact look. The battery sitting on the left side of the chassis helps to even the weight out in the chassis. The 88T brushed motor gives plenty of power to the transmission and allows for super smooth operation. An included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter allows for easy convenient control of the SCX30.
