just wanted to put a quick post up...talked to a friend today who is over sea's in Iraq. he is currently in the hospital because there was an accident while he was on foot patrol.

so far from what i gathered what happened is he was on foot patrol in front of an MRAP, which is similar to what is posted below. He stopped walking, the truck continued to roll forward, knocked him off of his feet and continued to run him over up his leg onto his thigh.

all in all he is very lucky, could have been much worse, no bones are broken outside of his foot. However he did say that his foot pretty much split open from the pressure of the truck on top of it.

For reference the MRAP is a 57,000 lbs truck. The tires are 53 inches tall.
Here is a picture of a MRAP. Also the ones we use here have two plates on the side of the trucks that are 5000 lbs each for EFPs. They cover most the side of the truck.
